Here's my list of the best coffee in Downey:

1) 3rd Street Coffee

2) McDonald's

3) everyone else

3rd Street Coffee doesn't open until 7 am so most of the time it's McDonald's that's waking us up. Here is a view of the oldest-operating Golden Arches before sunrise.
